The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals to make history and bring the first major professional sports championship to North Carolina.
I am so terribly sleepy this morning, but it was worth it staying up to see the Carolina Hurricanes win NC's frist professional sports championship!
