Pictures from our trip to Epcot!

We had a GREAT time together this past weekend. I flew down to Orlando on Friday night. Paul arranged dinner at a local dinner show - Arabian Nights. It was a lot of fun, but the food was barely so-so. I didn't take any picture there, but I did get suckered into buying their $20 picture combo. We looked cute, I couldn't resist!

Speaking of pictures, here are a few from Epcot. Yes, we are dorks and never ask anyone to take OUR picture, we just do a "self portrait" We have taken MANY of these over the years...

In Norway:

In China:

Looking from the World Showcase back towards Future World (or something like that)

After riding the "Test Track" (which was pretty awesome and our longest wait of the day... 25 minutes... we wanted to ride again, but it was very popular)

After riding "Mission Space" for the 2nd time - AWESOME ride!

At the "Universe of Energy" (we were getting tired at this point)

Dorky display on the big sphere... took this shot as we were leaving

That's all folks!

Going to Florida

YAY for going to Florida! Paul has been working down there most of February and I am on my way to visit him for the weekend. We plan to see the dinner show "Arabian Nights" tonight and then Epcot tomorrow. YAY! Pictures to follow!

A red wall comes to life....

Here's the progression of our "red accent wall..." It is STILL a work in progress... 5 coats of paint & primer!

Before, just a plain white wall with 3 Vettriano prints

ACK! Pink Primer!

It is red now... although its a little more splotchy than expected, it's got depth (darker in person)

Ok, without the flash,

Yay for home improvement and decorating!

House projects still going....

Day 5 of painting the red accent wall... 6 coats of paint later... it is still not done! ACK! Our first painting project, a red wall, is insane! I think I'm about ready to call it done and claim it was intentional to have it look so splotchy - hey, it adds depth people! A picture will be posted soon, I hope.

Paul is working on Florida this weekend - he's so close, yet so far away, from the Daytona 500 this weekend. Too bad we're both flighting the flu (sadly seperately!) We looked at flights for me to go down and visit, but with the race and last minute decisions, they were all close to $450+ - a little steep for a quick weekend trip.
