Weekend projects (that carried through Monday afternoon)

The new garden and backyard path - it's still quite a work in progress! We had a blast planting and building this past weekend. I've got the sunburn to show for it (yes I did wear sunscreen, just apparently, not enough!)

Patio flowers, herbs and fruits (patio tomatoes, basil, parsley, rosemary and key limes)

Pathway from patio to birdfeeder and eventually the garden. Paul designed and built the bridge - he is awesome!

Although it is hard to see, this is the freshly planted garden! The red plastic stuff is to help the tomatoes (we have 7 different plants and 5 varieties!) The second row is peppers (green and banana) as well as some carrots (seed). The third row is broccoli (never grown this before!) Fourth row is lettuce and spinach (from seed). The fifth row is squash.

Blueberry bushes behind the garden - they are blooming! Can't wait to see those berries!

Looking from the garden to the house - the pathway will lead to the garden and also "t" off to the birdfeeder. A project for another weekend!
